I have what I was told was a Mercury 15hp 2 stroke outboard motor. Unknow age but I suspect mid 80's though early 2000's. There is not an id tag anywhere on it, I know were to check and there is no sn stamped on the freeze plug on the block. I have a number cast into the block 881-9727-c and also a few other numbers like 0718 28 on the carb but no sn that I can find. Anyone know another way to figure this out?
