Help identifying motor year & spec

So I went and bought a 1989 Arriva 180 with a blown motor for grand over the weekend. The motor is a 150 Black Max, but I'm having trouble identifying what year and specs it is. The serial on support bracket is 6181590. I can't find much on it, but with that and the decals I believe it's an 82???? I'm in the process of tearing it down right now to rebuild/inspect. Any rebuild kit I find is for 83 and above. If someone could let me know if I'm right on the year and what liter motor/size piston I have/need would be much appreciated.

Does it have blue and white or brown and white decals on the hood ? Later ones from around the late 80’s to early 90’s had red and white and sometimes red, green and white.
Regardless, as far as I’m aware, all the clam shell 2.0 engines through the 80’s are the same beast. Amazing engines and as reliable as they get…just as long as the big and infamous issue is dealt with…the horrid oil injection system they have. If it’s still connected and in service on her now…so away with it before you do anything else. Pre mix at 50-1, as you’ll likely know anyway. It’s a ticking time bomb otherwise.
