I had to laugh. In The USA that used to be the ONLY way trailers were built. Then we'all got lazy and didn't maintain our equipment so the manufacturers stapled some carpet on a twobafore and called it a day.Definitely keel rollers from a trailer. Not too common in the US, as far as I can gather…but very common here in Europe.
Agree Jim. Personally I find that a trailer with keel rollers and bunks, are the best. Solid support from the rollers taking the weight through the strongest part of the hull…and a little weight on the bunks enough just to have a little friction grip when on the slipway. Personally, I have never owned a trailer without them, and never will.
