help identify the year

I have a gamefisher 7.5 hp with the serial number beginning with 172 or 722. can anyone help me with this? I would like to know what year it is. it has the electronic ignition if this helps.

Gamefisher model number prefixes are 217 or 225. Look for something like 217.123456.
