How do i go about filling the steering for a hydraulic set up
I purchased the system used and when i took it off the boat the hydraulic fluid leaked everywhere. I assume when i put it on my boat i need to add alot since alot leaked out.
its a seastar system and has two threaded fittings behind the steering wheel that the hoses screw into and also what looks like a plug.
It also has two nipples by the hydraulic ram part.
Help is appreciated thanks

Go to www.teleflexmarine.com/steering-us/. Look under filling & purging. Really a pretty simple procedure but requires two people to do it right. If you have any questions after checking the web site, let us know.
