Re: HELP How TO Estimate Quantity of Epoxy Resin
if you buy it from a good place (like uscomposites.com), they will tell you exactly how much you need. i know cloth is measured in oz. per square yard, and I know at least with mat and woven roving, you order at least 1 oz. of resin for every one oz. of material. i assume it's the same with cloth (only done small jobs with cloth for custom audio parts for cars, and i never measured how much it needs).

but figure out how many square yards of cloth you have, multiply that number by 6, and that should be the number of ounces of resin you need (and just convert that to gallons/quarts).

since i haven't done large cloth jobs, wait for someone else to back me up on this.
