Help finding dc electric motor for project

I'm trying to create a electric long tail mud motor and I'm having trouble finding a suitable motor for it. Need a dc motor under 48 volts and to turn at least 2500 rpms. Something eqivilant to 5-15 hp gas motor.

You need to be looking for a golf cart or other dc electric utility cart motor. Most are 36 to 48 volts however you will also need the speed controller and other components. Not sure what the rpm is though.

Ayuh,.... You'll get the same effect puttin' paddle tires on a golf cart...

Yer fuel source will mean yer boat will weight a Ton...
