I have a 1965 evinrude won't idle. It also shows low compression. Top is at 71 lbs. bottom is at 68 lbs. I assume I should pull the head. I am not sure what I am looking for. I sure could use some advice.
Those numbers do seem on the low side. Often carbon build up will stick a ring or two one these engines, especially if improper or too much oil is used.
