I bought this 05 Moomba outback and had nothing but problems. Last week running it bout 3k she just died. Thinking it was fuel, ripped lines apart and changed filter. Still nothing. Got into the wiring and found no juice to pump. Traced back to oil pressure switch and it was bad. She ran good for two days with no hiccups. Yesterday, same thing, running about 3k and it just dies. Jumped out oil switch pump runs but no fuel. Tow it onto trailer and rip it down to fuel tank. Find a anti-siphon valve and tear it out of the line. I tried blowing thru it and it seemed stuck. Question #1. Has anyone had problems like this with this setup? Question #2. Do those anti-siphon valves fail alot or am I looking in the wrong place? Needless to say it runs fine with the valve out of the system. One other thing, Where would I find a 3/8 ips x 3/8 barb anti-siphon valve?:confused::confused:

The anti siphon valve can go bad. They are a spring loaded ball that the spring and ball can seize.Any boat dealer should be able to get the valve.Jerry
