Help! 12V Monitor that is waterproof?

Hey guys I want to add a small monitor to the bow of my boat. I plan on running a video out from my Humminbird 898 so that I can mark schools of bait from the bow without having to spend $500 on another unit. Any suggestions?

It would be easier to buy a swivel mount for your unit

Yea I hear ya. I am thinking about going that route. Just sucks to have to be looking backwards when trolling around. Just weighing in my options.

What about getting a TM mounted transducer, a mount for the FF head and power wiring. Move the head up front when trolling. It might be a pain, but I would want to see what's under the boat where I'm fishing, not off the stern if I'm in the bow. Just a suggestion until you can buy another FF dedicated to the bow.

Yea my main concern is that when I am trying to net bait, by the time it comes up on the console unit, I am already past it. I may try and get my hands on a 700 series unit in a few months. Humminbird dropped them so Im sure theyll be cheaper here soon. Dingbat I just installed a swivel mount on my unit. I guess well see how the bait hunt goes this weekend.
