I'm in Woodsville, NH and can't seem to find any good, cheap local resource.

I'll be contacting US Composite for a complete price including shipping. Thanks for that lead!

Sounds like a plan. Just remember, depending on how much polyester resin you buy, the Hazmat fees are added. I was ordering the resin in 5 gallon buckets for my project and I still came out better buying from US Composites with shipping and hazmat fees added in then anything locally, and their products are first rate and fresh. And they ship fast as well. Two things you can do to keep the shipping coats at bay, you can have your orders shipped to a local trucking firm for you to pick up if you buy a lot of items. The cost really does drop from an actual home delivery. However, the last time I ordered any resin, I only ordered one gallon and I don't think they charged a Hazmat fee for one gallon. But that has been a while, so who knows now...

I have purchased from USC in the past. however I now have an account at FGCI since its near work. much cheaper to buy from a large local source than ship.

I would try Northern Composites in Hampton NH

otherwise, expect to pick up about 10 gallons of resin alone plus your CSM and 1708

If anyone has a reliable source closer to where they live and it cost less, of course I would go that route. I was only offering an extremely great place to buy supplies that so many others use as well. Just make sure you only buy what you can use in a six month period. Polyester doesn't last forever...

Just an interesting update. I've been in contact with http://www.springfieldgrp.com through email. There 4" system, seat mounts/swivels do not except a 5"x5" bolt pattern for the seat. Instead it is 5"x12", weird LOL. "The workhorse swivel has a 5x12 mounting pattern so that won't work if your seat has a 5x5."

Anyway this was their reply regarding my 400 lb weight issue - "All of our pedestals are tested to withstand 400 lbs to meet ABYC standards and regulations."

I just emailed them again as they wanted to know what exactly I was trying to accomplish/specifications of my needs. I'll update again when I get a reply.

Got a quick reply from Springfield Marine Company.
Remember, for now I'm just looking for 2 fishing seats.

I am considering the Millennium Marine B-100 seat with a 5"x5" bolt pattern.
Reply:
I don’t have knowledge of the seat you’re looking at as we didn’t make it.
I only have knowledge on Springfield product.
Those are all good options and commonly used products. They would meet your needs and hold your weight, no issues.

Adjustable Economy Pedestal, Adjusts 12″ To 18″ 1561107 $23.49 Worried about weight. *meets ABYC standards and regulations/tested to withstand 400 lbs/rated B for fishing only
Above with - 12-Way Swivel Stainless Steel Locking 1100019 $40.49 Weight?? *meets ABYC standards and regulations/tested to withstand 400 lbs/rated AD for driver use/compatible with 1561107

I thought it interesting that all their products are rated for 400 pounds. Now to look for reviews and chose which to get. Hope somebody found it interesting as well. (y)

Another option since your not going back with something similar to its original would be similar to these. These are popular in guide boats here in the nw and some will support much more than 400 plus pounds. The nice part in your case is your not relying on your floor to take the brunt of the load in a small area No screws unless you find you want to anchor one or two legs. There are many brands and custom builders for these this is just an example
