Do you suggest replacing the paste after 27 years? I'm just trying to stay ahead of the game..Heat transfer paste is available at any electrical supply. (Heat sink grease)
White "thermal grease" is a particle (I forget the white chemical powder.....retired 18 years ago) infused "grease". As such, it dries out over time. You are smart in ensuring it's fresh under anything attached to a heat sink that currently uses the grease.I don't want to go hunting for a replacement, I'm trying to head off that problem. Nothing wrong now just trying to keep it that way..
The old adage of don't fix something that is not broken applies hereDoes anyone do maintenance on the TB ignition module like replacing the transfer mastic?
