head temps 98 j150elecd

installed new impeller today, idleing in a tub i checked temp on heads with gun, port heads were 112-112-118, starboard, 142-146-150 is it normal for the ports to idle cooler?

At 900 rpms 140+- 15 degrees. At 5000 rpms no more then 160 degrees. Both cylinder heads.

heads should be within 10 degrees f make sure all cylinders are firing check\replace thermostat.

make sure all 6 cylinders are running as well.
