Re: Head Gasket Sealer
Rick, I went on the hunt for the OMC gasket sealer or the Mercury perfect seal. The local dealers said they used it themselves but usually never sold the stuff. The OMC dealer offered to order me some, the Mercury dealer didn't. I did find a similar product at a parts store by Permatex. It's Super "300" form-a-gasket sealant. It says it withstands pressures up to 5K psi and can be used on heads, seals, cover plates and housings. I see that I-boats carries it too. Would you guys consider this a good substitute?
