Got a 79 Johnson 140,it is running week ,only 22,000 rpm full throtle ,I rebuilt carbs, new plugs, and a water separator ,no change.
After running the engine pulled plugs all 4 are wet like its getting to much fuel.
Did compression check 3 of cylinders are 110 ,1 cylinder is 115.
It starts ok runs at idle ok ,before running full throtle then hard starting .
Any ideas ,maybe he float not set right ,when rebuilt I took every thing apart on the carbs except the plugs on bottom ,will that be a issue.
