Wow,<br />I just realized I haven't posted here since Apr 17!<br /><br />I have been really busy. But good things are happening. We have launched the most consecutive flights in the history of this program. We have flown the most hours, taken the most pictures and turned around the hearts of several of the "higher ups". We won "Team of the month" for last month. We launced 20 flights, flew 675+ hours and took over 4,000 pictures. We got to talk to a U.S. Marine Captain who was on the ground when we were flying over Falujah sending live feeds. He impressed on us exactly how glad he was that we were there. We prevented several enemy ambushes and probably saved the lives of many Marines that day.<br />I have to say I am proud of the people working for me. We have worked some very long days and have only had two late launches in the past 45 days!! <br />We play our part in the "Kill Chain" and will do our best to bring all your sons, daughters, relatives, friends, and acquaintances home safe.<br /><br />Enough about us over here. <br /><br />What the heck is going on at DC?????<br />I see someone saying "maybe we should get rid of DC" and others saying "quit picking on the new guys".<br />We all started somewhere. I really enjoy DC, it is like a large family gathering. There are many different discussions going. If you don't like the direction it is going, you walk away. If you don't have meaningful input, you stay and listen and learn.<br />Again, just a quick observation of a "spot in time" because I didn't see all the threads, just the responses.<br /><br />AK Chappy
