Has anyone replaced the windshield on their boat?

My 4 Winns H190 SS windshield glass is okay, but it's started to get crazed. Just wondering what I can do about it in the future. I've looked online but not seen much.

if your windshield is like the one on my Four Winns, its made by WaterBonnet... I dont know if they are still in business, but if they are, maybe try contacting them and see if they have any options. Boat windshields arent known for changing a heck of a lot over time, so you may get lucky.

if they are defunct, you are stuck trying to find used glass that will fit that is in better shape or keeping what you got, and being happy with it.

I'll reach out to them.

Admittedly on the SS I'm being a bit picky. It's a low rise windshield that doesn't do much to block the wind and almost nothing at all to see through LOL.

A long time ago the (tempered glass) windshield broke on my 15’ Crestliner. It was no longer available, but flat. I had a glass shop make a new one from lexan. It did the job but accumulated scratches over time.

a flat one is relatively easy to get remade by a competent glass shop. A curved one like on my Four Winns, while it looks good, is a right pain in the ass....

I replaced the windshield on my pontoon, an '06. The windshield still had the manufacturer's label on it. They were still in business.
Check yours.

Check with Taylor Made

However on curved windows. Be prepared when you get the quote.

A new window may cost what you paid for the boat
