picked boat up this winter so couldn't try it motor is tucked under the boat with bar all the way down drilled 5 inch hole in rear of boat plywood and foam is water logged would this add that much weight as when slowing down to sstop the rear of boat sets really low and the wake comes in over the rear

I would think it is more than enough to do that.....water isn't light, and bass boats don't have a lot of freeboard to begin with.

Very likely the waterlogged foam is from improper storage.
Many folks simply raise the bow and let the boat sit that way
sometimes forget to remove the plug but also the drain hole might get plugged allowing
rain and melting snow stand in the boat possibly for years.
The floor may be spongey as well.
Often a boat is in as slip and might stand for weeks or months with rain water in it.
