Hello. I have a mercruiser 1.7 engine with alpha one gen 2 drive.

Last year I changed gimbal etc.. If I go from forward to neutral, it goes well. If I go from reverse to neutral, it can be a little difficult to get it in neutral, I almost have to put the gear lever forward. What do you think might be wrong here? I have no idea if I should adjust the wire that goes from the throttle to the engine or the gear wire that goes to the drive.

Another thing. The engine burps a bit when I shift. Is there a clutch/wire that can be adjusted?

That's normal, and indicates the shift cut out switch is working properly.

I hope you are testing with boat in water. It needs resistance to slow down prop.
