Just realized that this was the last B-Day I will wake up and have to go to work. Retiring in June.

Retirement - When you can clean gutters anytime you want. :grumpy: Or not. :joyous:

Good planning, Bruce.

So that is something like 7 Saturdays a week? I have 2-1/2 years to work on that 59-1/2 year old retirement thing...I'll be calling you in the future Bruce.

We all lead different lives and our commutes and occupations vary. I'm really tired of 60 miles each way for the last 24 years. Plumbing isle at the local Home Depot sounds good in the future. Health insurance may be the biggest issue.

Let's gitter done, Musky! I've seen too many people work until they die or they must choose between food and meds. Sad.

When were up in Big Bear found out our next door neighbor has a brain tumor and is getting rid of everything that doesn't fit in his truck and driving down and staying close to the UCLA Medical Center for treatment. He is 70 but looks and acts way younger.

My Dad was in the same boat. He was diagnosed with inoperable glioblastoma multiforme (spelling) 8 days after his 70th birthday. We lost him 11 years ago. We all need as many Saturdays as we can get! I hope and pray for the best for your neighbor.

Yeah, we hear that kind of stuff all the time. Even people in their 50s... That's why we're retiring as soon as possible....

We'll be happy just walking or riding bicycles. Just need to get there financially which I think we can do. The next boat could be as simple as a 2 hour paddle boat rental at a local pond... UH,...Back to Happy Birthday Bruce! LOL.

Yeah...me too. He is a good guy. We talked a lot..actually he talked a lot but I was being a good listener. Since he lives alone could tell he needed that.
