I recently took a friend from work fishing in my 14'er. We had a great day fishing and returned with an chest full of flatties. The real fun started when we tried to put the boat on the trailer. My buddy does not have much experience with boats, much less pulling/backing trailers. We pull up to the dock....i get out to get the trailer and tell him to hold the boat at the dock....Then I would back the trailer into the water, then drive the boat on. He was to just pull the rig straight out. Well he floors it....smoke and the smell of burned rubber was everywhere. I was still in the boat in the water. He pulled the trailer right out from under me. I had to do the whole thing over again. Needless to say, I climbed out of the boat and pulled it up myself. It will take some practice!

Wily

LOL. Reminds me of the time my brother inlaw and I went to the "Big-O" to catch some specks. He has an old ford 6cyl pickup with a leaking exaust manifold...Quite noisey.
His bot is a 1973 Glastron Bass boat with a Merc115 tower...VERY heavy. I backed-in, he drove-on, I hooked the bow,and started to pull out.. Well,I got about to the crest of the ramp, when I vaguely hear whow-whow-whow.
His trim wasn't werkin, and I dragged the skeg 40feet up the ramp. No real harm done, but his skeg is about 1/2" shorter!
