My gas tank is in, the floor is completed and as soon as the aft end and bilge are painted it'll be time for the motor.<br /><br />I'm glad to be done with this portion of the project. My attempt at perfection has cost me a lot of time as well as cash. At least I will live with the feeling that this boat can become an heirloom 'cause I think that it could be completely submerged and be pulled up spitting out any water that got below decks.<br /><br />See the few new pictures here:<br /><br /> http://www.shareaproject.com/pages/projectTut,p,92,00.html <br /><br />The picture below, besides showing the new floor, illustrates my plan for keeping water from running into the gas tank bay during the normal course of use and cleaneing. It was water entering from that cutout that cause my rot. Even tho the bay is built to drain, any water that can be kept out is for the better.<br /><br />
