Andrew, reading all the responses throughout this thread I have come to the conclusion that it is to bad that our leaders do not get along as well as we all do here. The regular peoples of the world would in my opinion get along pretty well most of the time. Our leaders could learn from us.

It's even worse/better than you think. I was in Moscow for 10 days last month, and to see Russians and Ukrainians interacting the way we did, you never know there was anything going on between them... Honestly, there are a lot of places in the world where we need to 'tear down the walls'. Unfortunately there are also places we need to build bigger walls around.... East-West is no longer the problem....

Chris.....
At the risk of turning this thread political... Hope a mod doesn't shut me down :D :D

Anyway........ Andrew, have you been to Moscow Space Museum? FANTASTIC place!!!!

Oh man, you got me going there Chris. I was there about 30 years ago. That picture of the space monument brought back some great memories. I spent 3 weeks touring Russia in June and July 1984, a total of about a week in Moscow. I am going to go through my photos because one of Andrew's photos shows a church that looks very familiar. Of course a number of churches in Russia kind of look like that.

I was also there about 8 years ago, and we drove from St Petersburg (not the Florida one ) to Mosocw. That took us through Novgorod, former administrative centre of the Russian Empire (863 to the mid 1700s)... We visited and walked through a church more than 900 years old!!!

Whoa, I think I was in that same church! We flew to Helsinki and took the train to Leningrad (I'm stubborn, I still call it that). Stayed there a few days and went to Novgorod but I can't remember if that was train or bus. Is Novgorod where that church is? Anyway I remember seeing the kremlin there although we weren't able to go inside for some reason. At some point we took the train to Moscow. Getting old and my memory is hazy as to details.

I don't want to break forum rules but I will answer and it will not develop a political topic further.Russia she is one of the most ancient countries and age can be compared with Egypt,Greece and other age.Historically it had been the Russians never themselves at no one attacked and not attacked, always defended. In General, Russian people are very hospitable and kind. All that teaches us our rulers-fiction and is aimed only for their enrichment and not for the friendship of peoples. The events in Ukraine and how it shows You(if they show) this is nothing but a fake! There really 20 years promoted fascism and grew up on this for generations and came to power outright Nazis and the Russians are still in the memory of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in which according to official figures killed 20 000 000 people, every family has lost a son,father,grandfather.... I worked long trucker in his truck, drove the whole of Russia from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok and it is more than 10 000 km from end to end,so I can say and know how to live we have people in different regions.I can say that if you get into Russia without money, without a home-you will be fed, water,in the bath will PopArt and put to sleep in any city or village,of course the mentality of urban residents is different from living in villages but the same spirit. I hope the moderators will not consider it a violation of any rules of the forum, because I'm not going to develop this theme and gave the only explanation of which one can understand the attitude of the people to what is happening now.

Above asked about passion for the sport-unfortunately I am not a fan of any sports specifically, youth were engaged in Sambo,Boxing,athletics-Sprinter,was achieved not bad results at competitions, for which they were awards but like all young men began to pay attention to girls and in the end I got married at 16 and 17 I have already had one beautiful daughter! So the time for sports was not there and watch on TV is not mine this technique I love the first scooter I had in 9 years and in 12 years I have collected the first motorcycle, and not just fixed some have taken as it is assembled from parts, wheel give someone the frame, the engine just in parts there were, besides, just at that time wanted in section motocross. So my sport this technique,it is not difficult and difficult to fix any engine,be it a car or a boat motor.I have a lot on our forums there are photos on restoring cars, boats, construction, generally just what we can do,it's easier for me to say that I can't)))) Please don't consider it bragging or cheating,I always say what I think and think what I say)))

photo215812.JPG attach9421711.JPG Will continue better about their city.Proud founded in 1095 although there is evidence that the Foundation was long before it affected that for a long time the country nautilas by the Tatar-Mongol Yoke and it is nearly 300 years and the history of the state were destroyed.By the way liberation from the Yoke went from Ryazan, city residents are the first who stood up against the team of Oleg of Ryazan was one of the first repulsed the destroyers,so I have every reason to be proud that I was born and live in this city!)))) By the way the inhabitants of the city and the region was called oblique belly)))) the residents there have never been any weapons and the bulk of these were farmers and carpenters,as many forests that carpenters had large numbers and the tool carried always with him and this tool-axe and hung it on the side of the belt,hence-oblique belly)))))

undoubtedly so,in Russian
500,000 words in English more than a million but there is but one word can mean in different sentences with different meanings and almost any word has momentum, adverbs, synonyms and anonyms and so on. Therefore, the number of words counted is not possible and tends to infinity,I like Russian but I sometimes don't know some))))I don't know why but wanted to share a movie with You,I like it very much, especially the voice-over is what kind of comics based on Russian folk tales. The main character of the cartoon when talking Shepelevich-a speech defect is small, such as in children or adults when there is no front teeth)))) in player settings there are English subtitles
