Grab rail for what?
It will likely be tough to secure to the edge of the gunwale and not break the pvc T fitting. And will not be very structurally secure for grabbing or tying the boat off....
Most pvc piping is not UV stable, so it'd need to be well scuffed & painted to protect it from the sun. I'm not sure the relatively new Krylon rattle can for plastic will stick very well. The pvc may not hold up very well if you store or trailer the boat upside down....
Take & post a profile/overhead pix of your jon boat & use MS paint (or other graphic software) to layout & draw the grab rail you want to add. Someone may have a better suggestion.
