Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help . . I plan on building a DVA as soon as I can. In the mean time I'm hoping for an answer on my other post about upgrading to a GT200. THANKS!!

Re: Good spark, weak spark, no spark 89 Johnson 150

I had a tournament today and was going to just stay on the trolling motor all day. I ended up idling to a new spot and the boat was idling really smooth so I thought I'd give it a try. . hit the gas, she jumped up and ran great! 60 mph with two of us and our gear. Not any problems all day. Friday nite I had disconnected the power pack and checked all the connections, nothing seemed to be incorrect or misaligned or broken, etc. I only have a Seloc manual and it does not cover the 1989 GT150 with the single power pack. I don't have the cash to throw down on an OEM manual, does any happen to have the wiring diagram that shows the complete ignition system for this motor? I just want to go over each and every wire to make sure there isn't a break anywhere and would just like to know exactly how all of the components interact. Thanks in advance.

Get cheap manuals on ebay, mine is a 1994.
Its well worth the $40 or less for the manual.
