Good Brand of Instruments?

I'll be building a new "dash" for the boat and want to start swapping out my gauges. What's a good, reliable brand - VDO, Teleflex, Faria, other?

All of the above. If you are thinking about a VDO digital system, be aware that some of them have issues with dropping out. Otherwise, their gauges are generally top shelf.

I've had all three brands in various boats and prefer Teleflex. They also seem to have the best selection of colors and styles. Just got finished installing all new Teleflex Sahara gauges in my boat to improve the look of the dash.

Looks a lot more involved than my installation.

Nice job on your dash. Huge difference.
