I've seen the bass boat crash hundreds of times.
But, it goes to show you that it's always a good practice to wear a PFD and Killswitch Lanyard, even for the dummies
Without the lanyard, he would have probably been torn to shreds by the prop, and risking other's lives.
Without the PFD, he would have likely drowned.
But what amazed me was the lack of reaction from the camera man and the driver.
I mean, helloo....your friend just crashed. Maybe help him? Unless of course, they're just really good at keeping calm in situations like this...
That doesn't mean it was a good idea to jump through that wake at top speed in the first place either...
Either way, they posted it to scare people into wearing their lifejackets and Lanyards. I admit, I'm guilty of not wearing a PFD when i'm driving, but I do wear the Lanyard all the time.
Most of the accidents are 100% preventable anyways. So if you drive smart, just avoid the idiots and keep on boating
