Did the Collie ever drop big, fat stogies with "It's a boy" in your yard? Sometimes proud daddies forget the wrapper.

The boy has dropped many things in the yard, but no writing one them :)

Yes that is a bit warm in FL to be doing work outside, at least without a fan. I'm replacing tracks so the 60's are good here. The Admiral wants to go out in the Rinker so guess I have to go put the enclosure up so we can take a ride

That's great stuff, AllDodge. Would it be OK with you if I post the original pic to Facebook? I won't do it unless you're good with it.

Well, I got outside early this morning and replaced the stripped starter gear on my tractor. I have a love/hate relationship with that machine. When it's running right it's a powerful beast. But it strips the starter gear if you just look at it funny.

This time I not only got the "normal" grass cut, I also did the "back 40" which hadn't been cut in more than a year. Took me an hour and 45 minutes and I beat up the mower blades pretty badly but I was planning on replacing them in the spring anyway. Some of the weeds were 5 feet tall and there's a ton of deadfall limbs and whatnot still back there as well. Looking much better back there now though. All I want is some chilly weather so that I can put the chainsaw to work and clear all of the trash trees. And I'll be installing fencing too. Already have the materials, just waiting for cooler weather.

It's the last grass cutting of the year so I'll have more time to work on boats and go fishing! :fish2: :D

The back 40... much better now!

And the view from the back corner looking up the side yard.
