If I get to see it on Fox TV, I'll be pullin' for Texas. Nolan Ryan was my idol on the Mets as a boy. Grew up within walking distance to Shea Stadium in the late sixties and wore his mit.

Maybe I'll stick a 9 volt AM portable radio under my pillow and just listen like I used to do!!!!

Reminds me of a line from Band Of Brothers. "You guys are gonna be surrounded!". "We are paratroops, Lieutenant; we are supposed to be surrounded."

The Rangers have lost 2 in a row a bunch of times in 2010. They are the AL Champions. They only need to win 4 of then next 5.

I wouldn't bet against them.

Good way to look at it. But.....it is the World Series and with that comes a tremendous amount of pressure not present during the regular season.
Tomorrow we'll see what their made of. I hope Nolan has a little chat with them before the game.

My gosh, are we the only three people on iboats rooting for the Rangers?

Man I wish the Rangers would win but I really doubt its going to happen. Nothing is going right for them and everything has went right for the Giant's since the playoff's begun.
The Brave's looked the best against the Giant's but they had too many injured players to win. The Phillie's looked flat and so have the Ranger's.
Hopefully there is a big mental momentum swing when this thing gets started again.
