I read the rules and this appears to be acceptable. I have no interest or financial stake whatsoever in this enterprise.
I have found a guy in Vista, CA. who makes and sells really great custom decals at great prices.
I have a 1972 "V 176" "Swinger" Glastron. My decals were shot.
I traced the "Swinger" (free hand) full size from the faded decal on the boat.
I designed the V 176 decal but added the line underneath. Dave "digitized" the drawings. He has these available plus more.

He has many decals available (also sells on eBay) and does great custom work.
