Glasstream/ Starline/ Fish & Ski

Hey everyone, im buying a boat and would like to find some history on it. Its a 1988. Not really sure what exact brandnamme it is... i know it says "glasstream", "starline" , "aggressor", and "fish & ski" on different parts of the boat. Its a sharp lookin boat, metalic red bottom. Needs some cosmetic work-new seat covers and carpet. But the motor works and the owner says it doesnt leak or anything so i think its overall a pretty sound boat. its gotta 115hp merc and i believe its either 16.6 or 17ft boat.

Looking to find out some more history or information on the boat and stuff. Buying it for 2 grand. Thanks for any help guys

Well Glassstream is a brand name so the others are probably just model and trim levels. That's a good motor and should be great power for that boat.

This could be a very expensive assumption. Your biggest concern on a glass boat of this age is rot in the wooden components of the boat. You want a solid transom and deck. ANY soft spots in the deck are usually indicative of more serious issues with the wooden stringers below. Replacing the transom and/or stringers is a BIG job so check over the boat very carefully. It does sound like it has the potential to be a good deal. Good luck with it.
