After December we rarely waste frige room on a case of beer it stays colder outside.

You gotta be careful though.
At these temps the bottles or cans will burst in short order. I left a 2 litre bottle of coke outside for the kids. I forgot about it and it had burst in half an hour. I would think a beer can would take less than 20 minutes at -40.
Protect the beer eh!

We are going to be 77? today. Was skiing yesterday in the local mountains.

Yup. I shut my beer fridge off for the winter. Just leave the beer in the case on the floor. Its been -20 lately, so some of it got a little slushy. My garage is insulated, so if we remember to keep the doors closed its not overly bad.
