Same here, but will add I would take snow that deep over ice like Dallas and others are going through. Was in Louisville KY when the ice storm went though in 08 and was running generators for three house for more then two weeks

I've seen that on the prairies, where the windy side of the house has the snow packed up on a slope to the roof and the back side you can see the grass.

Yah, but I can chill my beer in about 3 minutes!
Its really warmed up today. Now -33! But the wind chill is making it dip a bit to -46.

Is that -33 F or C?

It was -18F at the lake place this morning, skidoo started right up even after sitting outside all night.

Celcius. But at -40 they are the same. After -40 the Celcius reading is always colder.

Meh, so it is only -27 in real temps ;) Although we don't usually see stuff that low (or even -18F) until Jan.

Supposed to warm up to 1F tomorrow and snow. Looking forward to it, first ski racing of the year.

In America husbands go out for cigarettes and are never seen again. In Canada they go out for beer and are never seen again!

This weather sure took a turn in a hurry. We had -27 last nite and it's already -23. I suppose it will rain in January.... Or, we'll be in the -30s/-40s. Roll the dice......

Where I live in southern Ontario, we don't get the winds like on the prairies, but we do get lake effect snowstorms, being in the lee of Lake Huron. Picture is of our house a couple of years back. - Grandad

....thats one more great use of a little winter snow (...little? LOL).
Our city (Victoria) is reeling a bit right now after getting a skiff of snow the other day and now temperatures are below zero.....uncommon around these parts. The biggest thing is that we are now in our 3rd/4th day of freezing temps and I think we have a few more to go yet.
I'm not complaining tho'.....Clear and cold in place of warm(er) and rainy....I love it!!

I didn't think there are Canadians left in Canada?

They are all here in Arizona.

They've all had their right turn signal on since Des Moines. An eighty year old guy, driving a 60' diesel motorhome doing 35, in the left lane. Turn signal-right-blinking.

"They're Here!"

When you try to talk to them, all you get is: "huh-What"

We love them anyways.:)

Holy crud, I have gone from -30c and 20km winds and very little snow to -5c and 60km gust with 3+ feet of blowing snow to +4c and melting snow over the last 7 days.

Man no wonder I am sick and tired of waking up sick and tired!!!!

We're at -24 again. I can't tell you how many times we've been below -20 this month. It's crazy and getting old..... Supposed to hit the low 20s tomorrow. Break out the T-shirt and shorts! Then back to single digits mid week...... This is Jan/Feb weather.....
