After being hit in the face with these advertisements/tv spam for years, I realize that I have never been in place where the girls have "gone wild". Have I missed something??

Now comes someone called Scoop Dog or somethin, that looks like he couldn't get a date at 3 in the morning if he was the last man in the bar...but yet he has them all flashing....????

I'm getting tired of the patches on the screen covering the interesting subject matter and would like to start a movement that you must not block out things in advertisements on public tv...ARE YOU WITH ME OR NOT?

(No dear, I didn't post that...bin laden is hacking iboats)

Capt Bob, you are not alone. I have never been there either, although when the lines at the women's restrooms get long, the saying "when you gotta go, you gotta go comes to mind." Especially on St. Patrick's day.

A friend showed me parts of one of these videos.(Oh sure Scoop, it was a friend, yeah right. Actually it was. They had done a video capture on the computer.) I was extremely surprised that they were selling x-rated videos on TV. It is not just what you see on TV, although they give a fleeting reference to the more hardcore stuff on the latest commercials. I can say that while I try to keep an open mind, it definitely more than satisfied my curiosity, but made me want to use the remote to change the channel every time the commercials were on. Not my cup of tea.

Now Snoop Dog (no relation to Scoop or Scoop Dog) is an interesting character. I think the amount of money the guy has may have some attraction to the opposite sex especially when inebriated. In a way, Snoop Dog and Ozzy Osborne are the best living anti-drug use poster boys. You sure can see what it does to the brain after extended use.

Re: Girls gone wild video ?

I've been to the Mole Lake Bluegrass festival back in the eighties. A few would flash you, and some would go dipping in the lake. But not "go wild" or any of the stuff you see nowadays.

It was a very fun "let loose" kind of weekend. Lots of beer and wine. Lots of very talented mucicians. Saw one girl having trouble keeping her bikini on while playing frisbee, so she just took it off. Funny thing is, no one really cared. People would take a look and just keep walking. It was a very open minded crowd that "RESPECTED" the people around them. You surely won't find that in any crowds of youth these days.

Imagine, a few thousand of inebriated people, camping and relaxing on an indian reservation, with little or no law enforcement presence, and no serious problems.

But that was before they built an indian casino to generate revenue. Nothing there now but a few new buildings and busses full of grannies playing slot machines.

Re: Girls gone wild video ?

I guess I am either younger, Been more places or have hung out with the wrong people but I have seen a lot of flashing and more at places such as Daytona Fl, during bike week, Cherokee NC during bike week and Myrtle Beach SC during bike week as well as other times for the Fl and SC locations. I have also seen some going on at the local watering holes from time to time especially from that young slightly top heavy bartender who would whip them out and lay them on the bar to collect a $2 tip if the owner was out of the bar. St. Patrics day is also a good day to see the fun as well as many other times of year but thinking about it within the area I live we have 2 good sized colleges and most bars within the driving range get students which are the most likely to go a little wild. I guess what I am saying is if you want to see it live and in person it is there to be seen and all you got to do is find it. What I like is there are a couple places on the lake you can usually find a croud having a party and usually my fishing day takes my by at least one of those and usually several are laying out, swimming or just plain hanging out w/o a top and ocasionally more.

Any one remember Woodstock??? I was across on the other side then but I gots buds who were there and got the pictures. No one knew what x-rated was back then. Love thy neighbor took on a whole different meaning back then. Translated mean't do every one you could. The dog ain't even in the same game as in the 60's when everything was out front for all to see if you know what I mean.

SSmayfloat, I could'nt agree more about Sturgis. One night in one of the campgrounds (buffalo chip) would sure open some eyes. Not to mention Daytona, and Myrtle Beach bike week as Peterfishbuster has mentioned. The AM-Jam in upstate new york is always good for some girls gone wild. :D

Yes, interesting subject matter, but being to many a biker bash, I have to say, you have NOT missed much. Women who party sometimes can party too hard also, and that's what is captured on those tapes. These are the same women, that when sober, keep thier husbands leased to the neasrest tree.I wouldn't mind the smudges, so much, if it wern't for the fact that they crank-up th volume to 5 times the level of adjacent programming and commercial spots!! At 2AM, the nieghbors' TV wakes me up talking about the "Most graphic, uncensored yadayada"...

I have to agree about the decible level of those dumb commercial's. They make TV set's now that compensate for that automaticly. I dont no about your idea of the biker bash but I have to say Some of the best memories I have are of the time my wife and I and friends have been at Sturgis over the years. The big rallys are a lot more that just girls gone wild. If you have been to Sturgis or Daytona I cant see how you can make the Statement " you have NOT missed much" :D
-------------
Flathead

Oh forgot about the Biker Rodeo thats held in Chillicothe each year. Its held at the fairgrounds which is just North of the Prison. The gals have a ball riding past the fence while the bad guys hoot and holler hoping for a quick peek(which they do}.Drives the local police and Sheriff department nuts cause they can't arrest the thousands that flock here to enjoy. City makes no bones because of the million or so thats made.......

Re: Girls gone wild video ?

I wasn't refering to Bike Week.Been there, done that. It is a city-wide festival, where you could lay back, relax, or lean forward and go crazy. I enjoyed it to no end,and have fond memories.Totally different than the KOA A.B.A.T.E. "Biketoberfest" held on Pine Island. I went there, and don't remeber much except the "flashing foxes, beer, bazzoooms and beer,and...Don't drive drunk...Me pitch tent.Bazzioom-girl, come help with this tent stake. Me want beer".
Next day, I was wishing I had gone fishing, but it was a blast at the time, that i'll never forget there too...Some good, some-------I should know better.
:D

Gonfishn, that sure is an interesting area. We went to see the Archeaogical sites around there. Drove right past the prison. There are soem great rock carvings out in the hard to find areas along with the other excavations near the prison.

Back in 197? sumthin' took a girlfriend to see a cancert at Duquoin (sp?) State Fair Ground in down state Illinois. Coincidentally, the same weekend as a big ABATE biker rally at these same fairgrounds.

My girl friend (at the time) got a little nervous at the display.

Walking past one of the camps, one of the bikers held up a big sign that read as "SHOW US YOUR T!*$".

So I DID!
(don't think that is what they had in mind)

Called the HopeWell Indians Scoop. Adams county has one called the Serpent Mound. Its three feet high and 1300 feet long. From the tower it looks like a spread out snake with an egg it its mouth. Little known about these folks.

lol Klondike although I think the bad guys on the other side of the fence would enjoy a more normal view of the gals...Good one though...

Well...it looks like the movement sorta fell flat. I guess I'll keep whipping my head around when the commercials come on to see bouncing square thingys instead of the real thing. I wish I could just ignore those stupid commercials but........... :D

Well I guess I am neither Crabby or at least was not before i got married and ever so often would still have the chance if I was not faithful. BTW those wild and crazy girls are not limited to biker rallys and special events the first time I was ever serioulsly asked if I had an intrest in more than one female at a time was in the most unlikely of places. I won't go into all the details here but lets just say I won't work at elementary schools (yes teachers) anymore for a very good reason.
