Im getting ready to bolt the housing to the transom.Do you use regular silicone or something special like m5200? I have both but Im not sure what to use.Thanks in advance.
New seal. Take the silicone to your house, not the boat.<br />Might be able to give you a part number for the seal if only we had a clue as to what you are working on.
new gaskets,clean surfaces,no sealer. if you feel better use bellows adhesive to secure the large oring inside the gimbal and perfect seal on the gasket, you may hate it at the next drive service.<br /> leave the silly-cone at the fun house.
