Gimball ring and bell housing compatibility

I need to replace both the gimbal ring and the bell housing on my 92 bayliner that runs a 4.3L v6 with a sterndrive alpha 1 gen 2. I found a nice used pair on eBay that are from an 05 bayliner that runs a similar 4.3L engine and same stern alpha 1 gen 2.

My question is would I have any compatibility problems? Once I get it all put on would my sterndrive bolt on and lineup with no problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No compatibility issues with what you are describing. It is always a good idea to check your engine alignment... but what you are doing will not affect the alignment per se.
