Gimbal Housing water inlet corrosion

Any chance of saving this housing with jb-weld or an insert? I'd be wary of any product breaking loose and blocking my inlet or breaking the water pump.

That actually look pretty normal. Anything wrong?

Even around the seal area? Seems to be missing some metal. I did have salt water leaking as seen from the inlet into my bell housing which corroded my u-joints and gimbal bearing. Not sure if the seal fell off during last install.

If you're concerned about it, use some Devcon to build it back up.
