Oil hits $70 per barrel. Looks like my boat fuel is going up. Aint it great, were on the mend now!

I was just over on the coast. All grades of gas and Diesel over $3.00 gal.

If it gets to $10 I'll take the bus to the marina, then use my kicker motor for crabbing and salmon fishing which is very close to the marina. I won't give up the ship! <br />A poster above was right: they just keep raising the ceiling and make us get used to the higher prices. Then when they lower the price by 20 cents it looks like they are doing us a favor. Sure, some of the increase is from the higher OPEC crude prices, processing, etc. But the record profits recorded by the big companies show that they are taking the opportunity to GOUGE us. Maybe the reduction in driving will enable the states and the fed to reduce the road taxes they stick us with, but I won't hold my breath waiting for it. After all, I live in TAXUS (aka Washington State).

I think it had just broken 70 bucks a little while befour I posted, so it went up $1.60 in 24 hrs, I dont think weve seen nothing yet.

Looks like the Iranians are great business people.They say they want peaceful nuclear energy, we react by getting angry and they make a ton more money.<br />Maybe they are the smarter business people.

That is precicely what i have known for some time now.<br /><br />The Iranian President ratchets up the inflamatory rhetoric and Iran pockets tens of billions of dollars.<br /><br />What is not reported is President Amadineajad does not have control over the Iranian Military, that authority is in the hands of the clerical committees.

We have our gas prices on electronic display, it makes it so much easier to raise the price.
