The German's huh........ Well if they start with Hussein in Kuwait then follow up on the Kurds, Do a investigation into who's supplying the gas, in coming to a conclusion, we wont have to worry about such nonsense they will convict themselves first.........what nonsense. ......

bond-o, it does not say. On one hand it implies that the Germans are doing it, on the other it implies that someone else just used Germany to file the suit because of a favorable environment.

It's not a certainty that it is even the Germans doing it Zm. For all we know it is the lying, prevaricating, socialistic Democrats who are behind it. It certainly would not be out of character by virtue of what they have shown us in the past.

If the 'German System' finds him guilty, you can bet your bottom dollar that the Dems would do everything within their power to deliver Rumsfeld.

Although I would hate to see it, I'd like to see the Dems get him on the witness stand. You talk about a plaintiff being able to knock the Prosecution on its butt, I can't think of a better man to do it. It would be quite a show.

If Rumsfeld is guilty of anything at all, it would certainly not be criminal. A more dedicated public servant we have rarely seen.

I agree. Rumsfeld was very dedicated, you can't argue that. It is not Germany or the UN or whoevers place to prosecute, it is our place. If there were crimes committed, then those who are responsible need to be punished. Cheesy partisan rhetoric only clouds the reality of the situation. I find it hard to believe, as inept and wretched as Rumsfeld is, that he should be prosecuted for the actions of those soldiers. Their immediate chain of command is who should should be dealt with...

He stated that he was concerned about the amount of American troops on the ground alienating the Iraqis. Yes he sure cut cost didn’t he? This dedicated public servant, I wonder if the cost of burial was figured in the bottom line also.
