Gelcoat yellowing

Had some Fiberglass Repaires done 4 years ago, where those repairs where done is turning yellow. Is there any way to repair this area??

Like this mess on my bow, previous owner fixed some scratches wit gel coat.
I think it needs sanding off and re-doing. I ain't gonna bother.

Possibly, you may be able to lightly sand and buff the area, this may remove some of the yellowed surface. The normal reason for a yellowed repair is they used styrene or some other solvent to thin the gel coat so it would spray better.
