I removed some layers of paint and smoothed out with 180 grit. Some down to fiberglass. What would happen if i primer and paint over the original sanded paint?

Are You Going To Use Gel Coat Or An Epoxy Type Paint? I Just Re Finished A Bass Boat With A Clear Gel Coat Sprayed On And It Really Brought The Old Color And Glitter Back. All I Did Was Light Sand And Cleaned It Real Well And It Adhered Ok. Make Sure There Are No Wax Or Oils On The Surface.
