1986 Bonito 16ft. Tried to find a model number, no luck. I have some spots to fix and want to come close. Scratch on the starboard side goes down to feathered loose glass I am just going to PB, fill, and gelcoat over it. I know it is so oxidized/chalky it may not matter. I have the full Meguier's marine resto kit with compound, oils, wax. The one panel I did on the top of the stern turned out really well.
Also is there any chance I could sand out the brown on the side? Does that tan color probably go all the way down to glass or might it just be a top coat?
