Can someone please tell me the difference in gear ratios between 1976 120hp outdrive and a 400 series outdrive #483486?

I believe that all 400 series were 21:18 gear ratio, and from sterndrive.info the 76 120hp should be 16:20, but that seems a little confusing to me, I thought they were all 21:xx.
