I am hearing different conflicting stories about lower ratios in a se106 that most of the lowers are 1.65 ?
Is this actually correct y
that a lower from a small v6 or 4 cyl can be used below a v-8. ?

The SEI drives are available in different gear ratios. If it's going behind a v-8 you're generally going to want a 1.5 or possibly a 1.65

Ayuh,.... The final drive ratio in all alphas is determined by the upper unit,....
Lowers are interchangeable between uppers,.....

So, Yes, a lower from an I-4, or I-6, or V6 can be used on a V8 upper, on a V8,....
