Gear oil level

I have an Alpha One outdrive with no dipstick like I have seen on some outdrives to check the level, question I have is how can I check the level in mine with no dipstick, do I assume, as long as the reservoir is at a proper level everything is OK, there is no sign of leaking anywhere. Is a 1997 model

yep as long as reservoir is ok you are fine. The reservoir keeps the outdrive full. There is also a low level sensor that sounds the beep that goes off when you start the engine. The alarm will go off when oil pressure is too low ( the brief time when the engine starts) , engine over heats, or drive lube is low.
