Thinking about purchasing a 97 Johnson Faststrike 150hp. Problem is the prop shaft gearcase housing/hub is broken (missing) two pieces... one at the top & one at the bottom with about 30% of the total threads missing. It appears someone tried to pry the prop off from the back between the prop hub and gearcase (top and bottom) and broke the pieces off. Can this be repaired or am I looking at a new gearcase housing? Any help would be appreciated.
