I recently realized i had bad gas and removed tank and sprayed out with soap and hot water.filled tank and now have 15 pin holes in bottom.what the hell?so before i buy a new tank i tried redkote sealer.problem is is says pour in tank roll all around then tip tank and let all excess drain out.i did that put it back upright,looked in there about 15 min later and saw some pooling.directions say dontlet it pool up.so i tipped it back and lety it drain.then i said wait its all gonna run off the bottom were i need it the most.i put it back upright checked it in the morning and now have about twenty dots on the bottom of tank were it dripped down and dried.havent put gas in yet but wondering is it probably screwed?
