Gas hose size 4 hp 1972 Evinrude

Went to replace the gas line from the fuel pump to the carburetor on my 1972 Evinrude 4 hp. Local auto parts could not match it up; either too big or too small. Seems to be an oddball size. None of the parts diagrams list the hose size. Anyone know what size it is. I'd go to a lawnmower repair place but they're almost non-existent anymore. thanks

they don't suck gas that much measure your hose diameter and check amazon or local motorbike shop ...bring a sample

Hose with 5/32 ID would be more to my liking.

Agree with 5/32.. or 4mm.

Could not find rubber 1/8 at the few local and independent auto parts stores. I settled for 3/16th which is 1/16 above the 1/8 inch. It still has a snug fit and with the clamps it doesn't leak. So far so good.

It is 5/32" hose that is needed !

5/32 is also 4mm
