gas coming out idle screw

I have a 1984 mercury 50 and the bottom carburetor has gas coming of the idle screw. What can I do to stop it

It's probably time for a carb rebuild. How is the motor running?

my guess is the float/needle/seat have issues, time for a rebuild.
