First off if you are reading this THANK YOU!! There have been so many cuss words trying to rectify this problem.
the boat in question is a 2016 scout 210 xsf
So after a rough day out at the seas.. the garmin 94sv and as well as the uniden radio will not power on at all! This all started to happen when one of the grounding cables got stripped from the crimped end on the battery terminal. The same ground was also used to start the boat.. so I know it’s not that ground since boat starts with no problem.
I went in the cabin (behind dashboard) and there is a power and ground conjunction box which hooks up the power and the ground to the fish finder and the radio.
I checked with a multimeter and I’m at 14 volts when the MAIN grounding cable is unplugged from the box. BUT when I connect the grounding cable to the conjunction box I’m only getting just over 2 volts..
can someone please tell me how to fix this please so I can stop being mad at the world and also keeping bullet rye in business!!!!
